Alright my people lets get into the good stuff of my blog!! The WHY!! I feel like there is a tremendous void with African American women's health. It was very difficult for me to find a black woman in the gym GETTIN IT!! I'm not sure why or why not, but just someone that looks like me and eating healthy. So to start I'm not your trainer....whew got that off my chest! I'm here to be your personal fitness "muse". I want you to stalk my page like you stalk your exes page after a break up!! LOL

When I changed to a health is wealth mindset I quickly realized I was on an island of my own. None of my friends or family was working out or even wanted to workout. So I had to hold on to something that for sure would keep me inspired. Of course, first motivation is the number on the scale but that wasn't enough. I had friends ask me, how much more weight I was going to lose? Of which my answer would be "until I feel good!!" and from there I created my'd like to see it?? it go!!
